Description

King Crimson - In the wake of Poseidon.  Released on the Pink Island label in 1970.  Matrices are ILPS 9127 A4-U & B3-U.  This is the second pressing on the Pink rim Island label

The sleeve is graded Ex.  This is a textured sleeve though not the heavily textured sleeve used for the first pressing. The front is beautifully clean (pictures 1 & 2).  The spine is fully legible with very minor wear at the top & bottom (pictures 6-8).  The rear is very clean (picture 3).  The inside of the gatefold is also clean with very minor rubbing on the edge of the back of the front sleeve (pictures 4 & 5).  Absolutely no rubbing to the top edges.  Very minor rubbing to the bottom edges.  No writing or tears to the cover.
The inner sleeve is not original
The record is visually Excellent+.  Under normal light it looks mint.  The record looks very clean & bright (pictures 10 & 12).  I could not find a single scratch or scuff.  The labels are clean (pictures 9 & 11).  The audio is faultless.  Playback was wonderful even in the quiet pieces like Cadence & Cascade there is only silence apart from the music.  Very minor surface noise on the run ins.  Playback was on a SME 20 with a SME V arm & Micro Benz cartridge.
UK bidders only please.  The record will be sent in a proper record mailer.  The record will be removed from the sleeve do avoid damage to the sleeve in transit.
Happy to answer any questions.  I accept returns as obviously grading records is subjective & playback on your system may differ from mine.
