Description

King Crimson - Red ( 1974 UK Island original pink-rim palm tree first pressing . ILPS 9308 ). Kurt Cobain,s favourite album from the PROG ROCK genre. Massive influence on him apparently when getting Nirvana together. Truly groundbreaking stuff ...........then they split up shortly thereafter !. These Island originals have become very scarce over the years as people didn't catch on to this incredible album until it was re-released on Polydor later in the decade. Heres a lovely original : Fully laminated
Robor Limited cover is nice and compact . No rubbing, just some light laminate scratching seen under spotlight and slight spine creasing. EX. Original sky blue Island inner bag is present. EX. Iconic Island labels only show very slight signs of use. EX PLUS. Heavy vinyl lies flat and true on the turntable platter. Beautiful gleaming playing surfaces. Been very well looked after, very little turntable use. Only the tiniest traces of use only seen under direct spotlight. Can't be many nicer discs than this one of King Crimson going power trio !. Needless to say the audio quality is truly breathtaking and has to be heard ( loud ) to be fully appreciated !. Vinyl : EX PLUS. Gradings as per : UK Record Collector Grading System definitions.
