King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard - Polygondwanaland (LTD Blue Fuzz Club Version)
description DetailsNew pressing on 180gm Electric Blue vinyl.
Psych-rock overlords King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard announced they'd be giving away 'Polygondwanaland' - their fourth LP of the year - for free and for everyone to do with as they please. Naturally, it was pretty inevitable that it was to be given the Fuzz Club treatment. Priding themselves on high-quality vinyl pressings, Fuzz Club have created a must for audiophiles and record collectors alike. The lacquer was cut at half-speed by engineer-extraordinaire Miles Showell (The Beatles, Rolling Stones, The Who ) over at Abbey Road Studios, which means that every tiny little detail of King Gizzards' wonky, hedonistic sonic prowess has made its way into the record's grooves. Not only will it sound absolutely incredible but it'll also look the part too. With alternative artwork, the LP is housed in a deluxe tip-on gatefold jacket with printed inner-sleeves and glued inside the gatefold will be a 16-page booklet which includes lyrics and a bunch of reworked illustrations taken from the original artwork provided by the tape. Aside from all of that, 'Polygondwanaland' also happens to be the Australian band's finest record to date. Whilst on their previous albums they've dealt in everything from jazz, soul and folk through to krautrock, stoner and doom, on this collection of tracks the Australian heavyweights hone their batch to psych-freak-outs into ten mind altering prog-tainted jams .
Not only do they have one of the coolest names in rock history, they also make a hell of a lot of good music: King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard presented their new album last year. In 2018 there will be »Polygondwanaland« officially on LP, meanwhile the twelfth studio work of the Australian psychedelic rockers in just five years.
That the seven-member band has a lot to offer in addition to quantity but also quality, they show, among other things, with the over 10-minute single "Crumbling Castle", which was released in October last year.
A total of ten new songs are waiting for »Polygondwanaland«, in which King Gizzard & The Lizard Wizard create a unique sound universe with the help of acoustic guitars, bass, analog synths, flutes, percussion and hypnotic chants.

about us
Our founding year 1998 - long after vinyl was declared dead and long before vinyl was hailed as a cool thing again - proves that we are real vinyl nerds. We only started out as a small record dealer from home. Later we opened our first real record store and of course our own online shop. Everything with passion and always with the motto: SAVE THE VINYL. What is not available online can be found in our store in Übersee, Frühlingsweg 22. Overseas? Yes. Übersee Am Chiemsee. Directly on the A8 motorway, between Munich and Salzburg. Here you will also find a fine range of second-hand vinyl. We also have a large selection of equipment from many manufacturers. Simply everything you need for vinyl ...
