Description
General Information This 12-inch vinyl LP record is the inaugural record for the band Kingdom Come, including the well-known hit “Get It On.” This record was released in 1988. The high-fidelity stereo sound quality of this release is sure to impress any music lover that savors the hard rock/heavy metal music from height of the glam (hair) metal days of the late-80s. This record was manufactured and distributed in the USA by Polygram Records, Inc. The catalog number is Polydor 835 368-1. This particular first pressing of the record was pressed at the Hauppauge Record Manufacturing Ltd. in Hauppauge, NY. This feature is indicated by the “53” that is at the beginning of the manufacturing details at the bottom of the record labels. The indication on each side’s record label and the indication on each side’s runout are as follows (respectively): Side A: 422 835 368-1 and 422-835-368-1-A-SP-DMM SPI-6 SPHRM Sterling IMP#2; and Side B: 422 835 368-1 and 422-835-368-1-A-SP-DMM SPI-3 SPHRM Sterling IMPT-1. The “Sterling” indicates that the record was mastered at Sterling Sound. Sterling Sound was a renowned audio mastering studio, known for its high standards and quality work. Many audiophiles and collectors consider Sterling-mastered pressings to be superior in sound quality due to the expertise and equipment used at Sterling Sound. The names of the songs for each side can be found in the photos. The record includes the original clear inner sleeve. The album has always been stored in an climate-controlled environment within a smoke-free home and will be shipped through USPS Media Mail.
Condition Details The overall condition of this record and sleeves is LIKE-NEW. The vinyl for the record is made of durable material and has been graded as Near Mint (NM/M-) with no visual or audible defects. The record has only been played once. Specifically, the record was played immediately prior to creating this listing and there are no skips, pops, or ticks. Accordingly, the sound quality of the recording is excellent. The labels are defect-free with no scratches and no spindle wear. The original clear inner sleeve is graded as NM with only factory-induced wrinkling and no seam splits or other defects. The record will ship with a new clear anti-static polypropylene inner sleeve which is provided as a courtesy. The original album cover is graded as NM due to the only defects being minor wear in the lower right-hand corner. The record will ship with a new clear anti-static polypropylene outer sleeve which is provided as a courtesy.
