Description

THE KINKS: SOMETHING ELSE STEREO Reprise R-6279 original 1st press tri-colour 'steamboat' label

This LP is excellent condition. US LPs because of their type of manufacture - pasted slicks on thick card stock often did not wear well this copy this copy is an exception and is amazing condition for a 50+ year old LP particulary given thIs sleeve was notorious for wearing poorly  The LP includes the original Reprise inner sleeve advertising other acts on the label. Reprise 'steamboat' tri-colour original label are becoming increasingly hard to find.
The sleeve exhibits some minor (hardly dicernable on the front) shelf wear and on small area of edge on the RH corner - see photo. Other than that sleeve exhibits no major defects and is graded EX.
The LP has been graded visually under a strong light  and retains a deep shine and lustre (which makes it hard to photograph - note: the lines you see are not defects, but are reflections)  this is very clean disc and looks unplayed and graded at EX+. Please study the pictures as they form part of the description.  I also believe I grade conservatively and err on the side safety if in doubt.
See my other Kinks original vinyl auctions, included is a very rare stereo white label promo of the VGPS album
