CONDITION
Disc
Labels: EXCELLENT
A bright & undamaged set with a small number of light spindle trails around each centre hole.
Visual: EXCELLENT +
Both playing surfaces are perfectly clean and retain all of their 'as new' deep-gloss shine. In fact, apart from a faint circular turntable mark, both sides the disc bear no further noticeable visual blemishes in strong daylight. Even close examination directly beneath my unforgiving halogen desk lamp reveals just some wispy paper hairlines together with a sparkling rainbow shine. Both side of this extremely heavy, high-quality disc lie 100% flat on the turntable when playing.
Sound Quality: EXCELLENT +
This wonderful sounding copy has received some careful play on good equipment and all tracks play cleanly and clearly, without any trace of any groove/playwear in either channel. My single careful playcheck at volume detected nothing more than a hint of low-level vinyl background between tracks but no clicks, pops, jumps or any other audible distraction whatsoever. Tough to upgrade this copy for sound quality.
Cover: GOOD
A fully intact but rather tired example of this impossibly fragile cover. The delicate front leaf is clean & flat with the only significant wear being some cracking to the laminate down the left side and a little wear to the upper edge, but no tears to any of the edges themselves.
Both inside panels of the gatefold are clean, unworn & unblemished.
The rear panel has some light laminate wrinkles and some staining to the lower right corner/edge, along with a tear on the lower right corner & a 2cm upper seam stress.
The spine is fully laminated and worded but the lower text is covered by the aforementioned stain.
Inner-sleeve: VERY GOOD
