Description

An original 1st press of their debut from spring 1975 [in the UK]. It was released earlier the prior year in the USA - but I don't think anyone new who the fark they were for a bit. 1st press in the UK was later - spring '75..by this point they were better known. Matrix A1/B1. Stampers 1-GR/1-GA. Audio coming from that 1st mother - and suggestive of a slow burn hit. 6 months later they were selling in the millions.
Vinyl (Ex) In nice condition and has only seen relatively light use. Under close inspection I can only make out a couple of light marks, and a couple of superficial radial marks - nothing remotely trouble some [fully tested]. A thorough testing from beginning to end reveals an EXCELLENT level of playback. Intros and inbetweens are lovely and quiet and the audio comes across with superb clarity. A very fine player with very little sign of background at all. Clean throughout even into the quiet moments. Maybe a couple of crackles in a couple of isolated moment per side. Super-doops.
Cover (Vg+) Very difficult to find in top level condition as that front nearly always gets worn. But this copy is looking in decent condition with only light wear front and rear. Expect a few stress creases at the edges and a bit of wear. We have inked in some of the wear patches carefully to keep it looking tidy. The text on the spine is still mostly legible - but expect a bit of wear in places.
Inner (Ex-) Light ageing. No splits.
