Description

Kiss – Double Platinum (1978 | Casablanca NBLP 7100-2 | Santa Maria Pressing, 2xLP Compilation)

The ultimate Kiss collection — Double Platinum is a full-throttle greatest-hits experience that captures the band at their absolute peak. Packed with fan favorites like “Detroit Rock City,” “Beth,” “Strutter,” “Love Gun,” and more, this 2xLP set is pure hard rock glory.

Album Details:

  • Label: Casablanca – NBLP 7100-2

  • Format: 2 × Vinyl, LP, Album, Compilation, Stereo | Santa Maria Pressing

  • Country: USA

  • Released: April 24, 1978

  • Genre: Rock

  • Style: Hard Rock / Glam / Arena Rock

Condition:

  • Vinyl: VG → Light surface marks and faint scratches, but plays very nice throughout with that Kiss punch.

  • Sleeve: G+ → Some shelf and edge wear, but fully intact and still displays great.

  • Inner Sleeves: Included (originals or quality replacements).

Playback: Tested — sounds powerful with minimal surface noise. Expect loud guitars, thundering drums, and that classic Kiss energy.

Collector Notes:

  • Original 1978 Santa Maria pressing — desirable for its solid mastering and collectible status.

  • Shiny embossed silver gatefold cover with the Kiss logo popping right off the sleeve.

  • Perfect player-grade copy for spinning or display — the ideal showcase for any Kiss collection.
