KISS SIGNED "Dynasty" Record  (Casablanca Record, 1979)   Paul Stanley Ace Frehley, Gene Simmons, and Peter Criss all SIGNED this album! Every band member of KISS signed the album cover over thier picture.   "Dynasty" and its subsequent tour, were billed as the "Return of Kiss." The band as a full unit had not released a studio album since 1977 and had not toured since the Spring of 1978. The album would restore the band to commercial prominence, reaching # 9 on the US Billboard album chart. The first single from the album, "I Was Made For Lovin' You," marked a rather drastic stylistic departure for Kiss. It had a pronounced disco beat, and was a success at a time when disco was at its peak popularity.   The album slipcase looks very nice for its age. It has some wear as most do that are this age. Light wrinkling with some small stains and age-toning. Outside fore-edge over title has some very light tearing and paper loss; corners have some very light fraying. The album looks nice; no scratching with some wear on labels. This would make a fantastic edition to any collection!

About FlatSigned Rare Books What does flatsigned mean? Back to Top The world s best-selling author, Stephen King, accidentally coined the term flatsigned. King needed to differentiate whether he should sign only his name (flatsigned) or inscribe the book to an individual.

In talking with his office, I found out that Mr. King incorrectly believed that this term was being used in the book-collecting world. At that time, it was not a term used in the industry. Frustratingly, there was no true distinctive term given to books inscribed to a previous owner or those signed on bookplates then stuck into a book versus those just signed by the author, or flatsigned.
