Description
Kissing Her & Crying For You
Various Artists inc. The Checkmates Ltd / Frank Polk / Marva Josie / Jodi Mathis / Willie Tee / Ray Pollard
Kent - 055 - UK Release 1986
Vinyl graded as VG Great sound quality and level does have a little very low surafce noise in a couple of places, but the vast majority of the tracks are clean and very big in sound.
There is a pressing issue at the start of the B-side which means there is a 'hissing' sound over the first few bars of Don't You Care Anymore by Jodie Mathis. Been here since bought, but shops only ever stocked one copy so taking it back for a refund meant going without the whole album. Otherwise a great clean, solid copy.
Sleeve graded as VG the cover is really solid but has slight signs of age around the edges. Please see pics.
Record plays through both sides with no skips or jumps.
A side: Kissing Her And Crying For You - The Checkmates Ltd / What Can I Do? - Billy Prophet / A Lil' Lovin' Sometimes - Alexander Patten / Love Is Dangerous - Frank Polk / Please Keep Away From Me - Elbie Parker / Hey Girl Do You Love Me - Timothy Wilson / I Still Love You (From The Bottom Of My Heart) - The Four Larks / Don't - Marva Josie
B side: Don't You Care Anymore - Jodi Mathis / In Your Spare Time - Cindy Scott / He Always Coms Back To Me - Clydie King / I'm Only A Man - Willie Tee / Right On - Al De Lory & Mandango / I Hurt On The Other Side - Jerry Cook / By Yourself - Jay D Martin / The Drifter - Ray Pollard
The labels are in really good condition, the vinyl does have some light scruffs. Please see pics.
Please look at my reviews to see what people buying my vinyl have said.
As I know people will be buying these records to listen to them I have played each record and commented on the playback quality rather than giving only a visual grading. This is because I don't do returns and I want buyers know what to expect and avoid disappointment.
Please read the description and do ask questions if you need anything clarified.
If there is an issue following purchase please contact me before eBay and I will do my utmost to find a resolution.
These records come from a smoke and pet free house, my own (and my extended family's) collection and have been boxed under the stairs for around the last 18 years.
I have tried to grade as honestly and conservatively as possible using the Discogs guide. Link below. https://support.discogs.com/hc/en-us/articles/360001566193
Happy to combine postage costs for multiple purchases. If you are outside the UK but in EU please contact me for postage costs.

PLEASE NOT DUE TO SIZE THESE HAVE TO BE SENT AS A SMALL PARCEL NOT A LARGE LETTER. Because of the potential cost of this LP I am only offering 2nd & 1st Class signed for options.
I will be selling a whole range of 7" singles, 12" singles and LP's so do have a look at my other listings.
