Description
This is a rare vinyl test pressing of the Dais Records release of Kite's 7" double-A-side single Losing / Glassy Eyes
"Sounding for all intents and purposes like The Knife/Fever Ray’s gothic younger siblings, Kite have been making moody synth-pop since their debut in 2008. This double A-side sees Nicklas Stenemo & Christian Hutchinson Berg’s duo scale new heights of romantic desolation and baroque grandeur in the organ-buoyed ballad ‘Glassy Eyes’, with affected vocals surely warranting the Karin Dreijer comparison, before ratcheting the drama with the stark staging of doomy piano keys and sepulchral vocal reverb on the intro to ‘Losing’, which ropes in harmonised vox from Anna von Hausswolff & Henric de la Cour on its escalating march to glory, galvanised by epic synth fanfare and martial beat." - Boomkat
