Description
'Klemperer Conducts Wagner', with the Philharmonia Orchestra
2 LP box set Columbia recording from 1960 (SAX 2347/2348 - green/silver labels) including:
Rienzi, Overture The Flying Dutchman, Overture Tannhauser, Overture Lohengrin, Prelude, Act 1 Lohengrin, Prelude, Act 3 Die Meistersinger, Overture/Dance of the Apprentices/Entry of the Masters Tristan und Isolde, Vorspiel und Liebestod Gotterdammerung, Siegfied's Funeral March I haven't been able to play the records but they appear to be in good, clean condition, with no bad scratches/marks. The sleeves are also in excellent condition, with no stains or tears. The accompanying booklet is very slightly foxed on the front cover (hardly noticeable), and the pages have visible signs of being thumbed through but are otherwise intact, with no loose leaves. The box has a shop label on the top right corner (visible in the photo), a small tear to the spine and minor scuffs/scratches, but is generally in good order.
