Wow! This is the highlight of the collection. A wonderful copy of the 1st edition box set of Klemperer conducts Wagner on immaculate vinyl with blue/silver Columbia labels. The discs and labels have a beautiful "as new" sheen. Looking very closely, there are just a couple of light hairline scratches but these areas have been playtested and sound quality remains immaculate.
Box is in great shape - a bit of rubbing along the edges but structurally absolutely sound and, as you can see from the photo, the gilt titling on the spine remains elegant and attractive.
A note about my classical vinyl: I've recently acquired an extensive Classical collection that has been exceptionally well cared for by an audiophile listener. Most discs have been played once from new, recorded for archiving and then stored. From a visual grading, all discs are NM and sleeves are generally VG+ to EX (occasional shelf wear, rubbing on corners etc but very presentable).
