Description
Saint George Serbian Orthodox Church Choir, Montreal Expo 67', Soca Records
Vintage 1967 33 1\3 LP entitled "Songs From The Montreal Expo 67' Program" performed by the Kornelije Sankovich Choir of the St. George Serbian Orthodox Church, based in East Chicago Indiana. Record is a recording of two performances by the choir at the Canadian Exposition in Montreal on August 20th, 1967 under conductor Dean Croxton. Record is a regional / private pressing. Pressed and distributed on the Soca Records label (Label differs from the "Staff Records" label on the sleeve, however both it and the record share the same catalog number).
Sleeve is graded as VG+/NM. It shows minor bumping at the edges, with minor soiling on the both covers. Both covers are clean and glossy, sleeve is overall clean and intact.
Visually Record is graded as VG+. Both sides show moderate surface wear. However it plays closer to VG+.NM. Record has been cleaned, tested and plays through well with a handful of minor pops on each side. Record has an overall very good sound quality, and is pleasant to listen to despite flaws.
My grading scale is G/G+/VG/VG+/NM/M
Quality ships in an LP box with a poly record sleeve between Cardboard inserts. Please ask any questions prior to purchase. Let me know if you would like additional photos. Comes from a pet and smoke-free home.
