Description
This is an ultra rare Kraftwerk Acetate test pressing of "The Man-Machine". Things like this are about as rare as finding the Holy Grail and if you consider yourself a collector of electronic music on Premium vinyl then this is the piece for you.
The condition of this record is actually pretty good considering it's age and its original intended purpose, these are not intended for general public to have or use and are considered to be extremely rare.
As nice as this gem is, it is not perfect and does have a nic on one edge as shown in the photos but would not affect the playability if you chose to do so. The nic is actually kind of cool because you can see the metal layer in between the two sides of vinyl.
When you look at the vinyl in the sunlight it has a brownish sort of tint to it and also has a unique lacquer smell because of the special vinyl used in the test pressings
It also comes with its original plain white sleeve, however there is a tear in it and it has yellowed a bit. There is no regular production style jacket that goes with this sort test pressing and should not be considered missing.
Because of the uniqueness of this piece, I will have it insured and packed securely so it will not get damaged in any sort of way. It will be sealed in airtight plastic wrap and in oversize double boxes to ensure a safe delivery.
Do not waste time and let this piece of German electronic music history slip through your fingers.
