Description

no title PROMO-ONLY LP - GLEN GRAY - Musical Scrapbook b/w KRAFTWERK (Here's To Veterans 120 Program No. 1546/1547)

Original 1976 U.S. PROMOTIONAL ONLY MONO LP. Here's an odd one for KRAFTWERK fans/collectors. Radio-only program promoting the recently-released KRAFTWERK 'Radio-Activity' album. Includes 3 cuts from the LP - "Radioactivity," "Antenna" & "Airwaves." This was produced by the Veterans Administration and given to radio stations as a public service. Includes a voiceover rep from the V.A. who hypes the Administration; he also introduces 'Hildegaard,' a German announcer who procedes to introduce the band to the radio listeners. In glorious MONOPHONIC fidelity, probably the only place these recordings can be found like this, I suspect. Never came with an actual cover. Doubtful that too many of these have survived thru the years... (Btw, the GLEN GRAY side features big band music from the 1930s. And the final 30 seconds of the KRAFTWERK side is an advertising spot for veteran loans from none other than ANDY KIM! Entire length of both sides is 14:30.). Handwritten date 1/29/78 on the label. Vinyl some hairlines vg+. NOT LISTED ON DISCOGS !!! SHIPPING WORLDWIDE. OUTSIDE OF GERMANY PAYPAL ONLY !!! GOOD LUCK.
