Description
Vinyl pressing of Paradieswarts Duul by Amon Duul on the German Ohr label from 1970. The Ohr logo is in the upper left hand corner of the front cover & has OMM 56008 - Super Stereo Sound underneath it. Amon Duul was an original Munich commune group. They lived together & were wlays trying to create new genres in music. Psychedelic drugs, free love, & a shared community were all factors as was the psychedelic music from the U.S. & Britain. Especially Hapshash & The Coloured Coat. What a life ! My kind of guys ! Tripping, screwing & jamming. Eventually & unfortunately they broke up due to political & musical differences. Just before a legendary concert they split into two separate bands. Amon Duul & Amon Duul II. This is Amon Duul's thrid l.p. Call it Krautrock, Kosmische Musik or psychedelic. All three terms fit. I'm well aware of the value of this l.p. I got a great deal on it so I'm willing to sart it off at a fraction of its value. Cover is vg++. Vinyl is vg++ on side one. It starts off with some light background noise on the lead in vinyl but dissipates. Side two is vg+. It needs a good cleaning which isn't my forte. I got it somewhat clean & playing better on side one. Most of it plays vg++. Side two has more light background noise. Of course most noticeable between songs & in quiet passages. Wish I had a VPI machine. Dirt was coming out of the grooves as I cleaned with a white cloth. Maybe this was in a smokers home ? Leave me feedback and I will return the courtesy. Shipping 3.75 U.S. media, 7.75 U.S. priority and 14.00 air to overseas countries. Delivery confirmation is a must and is worked into the cost of shipping. I accept Paypal, U.S. cashiers checks and U.S. money orders only. Gold, precious stones and your first born can be negotiated. If paying by Paypal, payment is expected within 3 days unless other arrangements are made. Insurance will be provided upon request and is to be paid for by the customer. My overseas customers are very important to me and have given me a lot of support. However, I cannot be responsible for uninsured packages. I do pack well and in a professional manner with standard record mailers. I also place a cardboard support inside the mailer for protection and to help prevent any bending. Records are removed from their covers and both are placed in a protective, clear plastic outer sleeve. It's a tried and true method that has never been improved upon. I do offer refunds if the item you won is not as described. I ship every Saturday.
