Description
Full-length LP from Ash Ra Tempel titled "Starring Rosi" reissued by Cosmic Music (840.101) in 1976. This is a French quadraphonic repress of the fifth album from Manuel Gottsching's Ash Ra Tempel originally released in Germany in 1973. Not as experimental as earlier efforts, Manuel went for shorter tracks with a more song structured approach often featuring spacey vocals (singing or reciting) from girlfriend Rosi and himself. Guitar playing is great as usual along with synthesizer, Mellotron and other instrumentation and percussion. There are moments that remind us of the earlier krautrock cerebral workouts and this still is an essential part of the German Kosmische Musik scene.

Labels are in NEAR MINT condition. Vinyl record is in NEAR MINT condition with new-like luster and plays with some sporadic extraneous surface tics...sounds great! Cover is in MINT- condition with a couple of lightly dinged corners, light crease at top left corner and light curling at bottom right corner. Cover has beautiful glossy finish.
