Krazy Kapers/Once Upon a Time - Okeh Electric recorded 10/10/1933 in NYC. 

The Chocolate Dandies was a name used by a number of jazz ensembles in the United States from the 1920s into the 1940s.

The name came from a 1924 stage show written by Eubie Blake and Noble Sissle.  Benny Carter had several ensembles in the 1930s which he called the Chocolate Dandies. This recording from 1933 features Max Kaminsky (tp), Benny Carter (tp, as), Floyd O´Brien (tb), Chu Berry (ts), Teddy Wilson (p), Lawrence Lucie (g), Ernest Hill (b), Sidney Catlett (dr) 

The ensemble is very tight and beautifully orchestrated - another tribute to Carter as an arranger.
