Here is a nice copy of the soundtrack LP of ‘La Dolce Vita’, Federico Fellini’s classic film.    This is a first UK pressing, issued on RCA in 1960.  


The British issue was very nicely produced.  Manufacted by Decca and released in a rather special  gatefold sleeve, the centre of which showcased eight black & white stills from this classic film (see right).


This is a rare item and this is a nice copy.

Condition:

The sleeve is laminated front and back, as issued.  There is an internal ‘pocket’ on the right side of the open gatefold, which is also laminated.  The sleeve is in very good condition with only minor handling/shelf wear.  There is a tiny laminate loss at front top edge but otherwise all is good shape.  Vinyl - a good quality Decca pressing is also VG.  Please see below for grading information and for the pictures right, which form part of the description.







The records are graded visually, using the Record Collector grading system (see below). Where applicable, the sleeve is graded first, followed by the vinyl.



Postage & Packing: £3.50 (UK), £6.00 (Rest of Europe), £12.00 (Worldwide).  


I charge only actual cost of postage and packing and will seek most cost effective method.  I am happy to combine items and pass on any saving.  Proof of Posting is obtained for every item sent but on valuable or more expensive items, you might want to consider sending it signed for or tracked, which I can organise.

Record Collector Grading System:


MINT: The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. Records advertised as Sealed or Unplayed should be Mint.


EXCELLENT: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing.


VERY GOOD: The record has obviously been played, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.
