RARE German pressing of La Düsseldorf`s second album "Viva" on Strand Records (1978), distributed by Teldec. First released on Strand/Teldec in 1978, this issue from 1981 utilises Telefunken-Decca`s then-new Direct Metal Mastering (DMM) technology.
Viva of course features famed Neu! drummer/composer/allround madman Klaus Dinger (vocals, guitar, keyboards, percussion), brother Thomas Dinger (vocals), as well as former Neu! sound engineer Hans Lampe (drums). Without doubt a worthy slab of Krautrock history. "La Düsseldorf's Viva crystallized Klaus Dinger's progressive rock vision into a symphony of swirling guitars, rich keyboard melodies and driving percussive beats. - Perfect vinyl on both sides, with impeccable audio reproduction throughout.
- No hairlines, scuffs, spindle wear or any other visible signs of previous play at all!
- Original first-pressing Strand/Teldec Records labels with no spindle wear whatsoever.
- The matrix stamps in the run-off grooves read "C-6.23 626 -01-1/3" and "C-6.23 626 -01-2/3".
- This record is hereby certified to be an original German pressing of "Viva", released in 1978.
PLEASE NOTE: Not to be compared with the more-often-than-not substandard vinyl on offer on eBay, this item is in honestly-graded MINT(-) condition. You will NOT find another original first pressing of "Viva" as nice as this one - especially at this bargain price: "True value for money" is the motto here!
