Description

   I am selling a rare, acetate / lacquer 2-record set titled "The Red Mitchell Quartet with James Clay, Lorraine Geller & Billy Higgins (S 7538)". The original title was "Presenting Red Mitchell". These original master lacquers were cut from the original master tapes and used by Contemporary Records to produce stampers that pressed their vinyl reissues. Each metal, lacquered disc is single-sided, and they can be played on a standard turntable. They still look excellent overall and labels are near mint. Covers are excellent with extremely light shelf wear.
