Description
El Saturn Records ESR-524, this is an original US pressing - NOT a reissue - of the impossible to find Lacy Gibson LP "I Wish I Had A Wishing Ring". Gibson was a guitarist for the Sun Ra Arkestra and also played with numerous blues legends of the time. This pressing has the black and white heavy cardboard cover; the El Saturn label address is etched in the dead wax on both sides. Jacket is beautiful NM, showing no real signs of wear. LP is a shiny and clean NM/NM-, with some minor paper marks on either side. Original El Saturn vinyl was never known for it's audiophile quality and this LP is no different, as there is some minor background crackle at times during quieter interludes. Outside of that, it's an enjoyable listen as this is a very clean copy. Light blue labels with black print are crisp with no spindle wear.
