LAMB "A SIGN OF CHANGE" FILLMORE 30003 1970 w/LYRIC SHEET
Their debut album, of three, is perhaps their most uncompromising and experimental. Relying ;largely on jazz folk acoustic arrangements and showcasing Barbara Mauritz's impressive voice and dream like lyrics. Their music blended jazz, folk music, singer songwriter pop, gospel, classical and even avant garde influences. Containing seven longish songs, featuring titles like "Traveler's Observation", "Adventures of the Incredible Mr. Sandman", "the Odyssey of Ehram Spickor" and "Where I'm Bound". All written by Barbara and guitarist Bob Swanson, with an eclectic blend of instruments to color their sound...Very Unique indeed.
