Description
Double LP set from Larry (Wild Man) Fischer titled "An Evening With Wild Man Fischer" released by Bizarre/Warner Bros. - Seven Arts Records (2XS 6332) in 1969. Original pressing with blue Bizarre labels. Cult classic from certified schizophrenic singer-songwriter introduced to the World by Frank Zappa. This double slab is a confused mix of field recordings with Larry wandering the streets offering to sing his "original" songs for dimes (overdubbed with the The Bizarre Percussion Ensemble), recordings of Larry singing unaccompanied his doo-wop influenced songs, a couple of songs with Zappa's band providing the vibe, recordings of Zappa trying to coax the moody Larry into finishing his songs in the studio, etc... Fascinating recordings of a troubled man struggling with his schizophrenia. Labels have (2XS 6332) and cover has (2RS6332) on spine. Still Never Released On CD!!

All labels are in EXCELLENT condition. Both vinyl record is in VG+ to VG++ condition with a few surface marks and some sleeve stains. All sides play with noticeable background noises and occasional clicks but nothing overbearing or intrusive...still sounds great! Gatefold cover is in VG+ condition with some wear at corners, some edgewear, ringwear, name penned on lower edge of front and some light discolorations of white area on inner fold. NO RESERVE. Winner pays $4.00 media mail in the U.S. Priority mail and insurance are available at buyers expense.
