This is definitely one of the greatest of Larry Young’s LPs! Released at the height of this young organ genius's abilities, this is a mix of funkiness and moody mod-jazz full of spirituality. The rhythm section is rounded out by Byard Lancaster on alto, Herbert Morgan on tenor, George Menson on guitar, and Edward Gladden on drums.

Tracks are "The Infant," "The Cradle," "The Hereafter," "Heaven on Earth," "Call Me," and a nice version of "My Funny Valentine" with vocals by Althea Young. These have become very tough to find and are always desirable.

This is an original copy, and the cover is in great shape with almost no wear and only a tiny clipped corner at the upper right. The vinyl is beautiful and glossy, and the label is an original blue and white label with “Division of Liberty Records, Inc.” printed on it. I grade this conservatively VG++/m- (cov/rec).

Winner pays postage. Domestic U.S. shipping is $3.50 media rate or $7 for priority mail (insurance additional and quoted at cost). I will quote overseas postage when overseas winning bidder specifies air/surface mail – a good guideline is $7 for a single LP by surface mail and $12 for a single LP by airmail. Shipping to Japan is a bit higher.

I package all LPs securely in record mailers and remove the vinyl from the covers to prevent seam splits during mailing. I do not just stick your record in a priority mailer box from the post office or between two thin pieces of cardboard with no additional packaging materials like so many others!!! If your winning bid is $100 or more, I will double box this item for added protection at no additional cost to you.

Personal checks are cool for payment but must clear (10 business days). Money orders get next day shipping. Overseas, we'll work this out – I’m really flexible. I accept cash in a registered letter, IMOs, bank checks drawn in US dollars and sent to me from the bank’s U.S. branch (must have magnetic ink U.S. routing numbers printed along bottom), and wire transfers by Western Union. However, I am not able to accept Paypal or any other credit card payment. Please don’t bid and then say you can only pay by paypal – Paypal is not an option for me, and I will leave you negative feedback if you do not complete the transaction by one of the methods noted above.
