Description
Scarce vintage jazz LP featuring LARS GULLIN on the ATLANTIC label, from 1956, in impeccable condition.
Title is “Baritone Sax: Lars Gullin.” Catalog number is ATL 1246, monaural pressing.
Pressed on medium thick vinyl, label is black with silver print, with deep groove in label.
Guaranteed to be original and authentic. I do not sell boots or modern reissues.
This album came from the estate of a gentleman who collected jazz albums for many years, many of which were autographed at performances he attended when the artist(s) appeared at clubs in the Washington, D.C., area. This album was signed on the reverse by the drummer on these sides, Nils-Bertil Dahlander, in 1972. The owner prized his collection, played his records sparingly, and stored them under the best conditions.

On “Perntz”: Lars Gullin – baritone sax; Carl-Henrik Norin – tenor sax; Arne Domnerus – alto sax; George Vernon – trombone; Rune Ofwerman – piano; George Riedel – bass; Nils-Bertil Dahlander – drums. On “Fedja”: Rune Falk – baritone sax, is added.
On “So What”: Lars Gullin – baritone sax; Ake Persson – trombone; Rune Ofwerman – piano; George Riedel – bass; Nils-Bertil Dahlander – drums. On “Mean To Me”: Arne Domnerus – alto sax, is added.

Jacket: Jacket is nice VG+ to VG++ with no serious flaws. Front art work is clean and bright. Reverse has some surface wear in evidence. There is also an area at top right where an index number was darkened-over with a felt pen. The reverse is autographed by drummer Nils-Bertel Dahlander.
Vinyl: Condition of vinyl is NM with full brilliant original gloss. No discernible marks or flaws. Labels are clean and pristine. The record plays beautifully with superb fidelity. I am confident the winning bidder will be extremely pleased.
