Description

Here's a stunning E+ copy of the mega-rare 12 inch Columbia, DX370, of Laurel and Hardy, recorded in London on their first visit to Britain in 1933! One side is a sketch by the duo and on the reverse they introduce their theme song 'The Dance of the Cuckoos'. The record comes in its original sleeve and has on side 1 a curious negative impression of a Columbia label on the surface of the record, this probably occurred at the time of pressing when records were stacked on top of one another - it has no effect to the sound whatsoever. This record is very rare in Britain (my first copy in over 10 years) and was never issued in the USA!
