Spirit of Sound Records, a one of a kind, independent Vinyl LP shop, located in Camden, Maine, is the area's newest and only record shop, featuring new and vintage vinyl from all genres, meticulously cleaned and graded (I scrutinize each LP under a halogen lamp) for customer satisfaction. Owner Byron F. Greatorex comes from a 40 year history of collecting, buying and selling records, including ownership of two previous independent stores in Vermont and Maine.  Spirit of Sound aims to please! Present stock includes many gems in the condition and price range that is satisfactory to our customers, both locally and all over the world! Each LP purchased will be cleaned on a VPI Professional Cleaning Machine before shipping. Bid confidently and enjoy shopping with Spirit of Sound. Thanks and Peace to You!
Our grading system is essentially the same as in Goldmine with one exception.  We use EX (in lieu of VG++) for vinyl that is between VG+ and just this side of Mint-.
Spirit of Sound ships, in good faith, via USPS.  We combine shipping for multiple purchases.  To insure customer satisfaction, we will include delivery confirmation (with tracking number) on all domestic orders, thus the modest shipping/handling increase.  We encourage our international buyers to include insurance and delivery confirmation when choosing a shipping option.   Barring this choice, we will ship in good faith at buyers risk.
