    For many fans of the Italian progressive rock, this album is a masterpiece of Orme: is a concept album that tells the story of two planets: one, Felona, happy and cheerful, the other, Sorona, dark and dominated by pain (his name, derived from "sorrow", apparently it was suggested to the Footprints by Peter Hammill during his Italian tour in December 1972), Tracks like "Sospesi nell'incredibile" will play a tough and indigestible to those not familiar with the genre (is a suite a bit 'to "The Barbarian" by Emerson, Lake & Palmer, but softened by the flight to four instruments written by the manufacturer and arranger Gian Piero Reverberi), the pastoral beauty of the simple ballad "Felona" or the ecstasy of supernatural "the loneliness of those who protects the world" (an incredible piece) will hit anyone. Also, listen to today a disc of Orme produces surprises that other discs prog not reserve: how not to get bowled over by what happens in "Attesa inerte" from 00'43 "?     Per molti fan del progressive rock italiano, questo disco è il capolavoro delle Orme: è un  concept album che narra la storia di due pianeti : uno, Felona, felice e solare, l'altro, Sorona, tenebroso e dominato dal dolore (il suo nome, derivato da "sorrow", pare fu suggerito alle Orme da  Peter Hammill durante il suo tour italiano del dicembre 1972),  Brani come "Sospesi nell'incredibile" suoneranno  duri e indigesti a chi non ha dimestichezza col genere (è una suite un po' alla "The Barbarian" di Emerson, Lake & Palmer, addolcita però dalla fuga a quattro strumenti scritta dal produttore e arrangiatore Gian Piero Reverberi), la bellezza pastorale della semplice ballata "Felona" o l'estasi soprannaturale di "La solitudine di chi protegge il mondo" (un pezzo incredibile) colpiranno chiunque. Inoltre,riascoltare oggi un disco delle Orme produce sorprese che altri dischi prog non riservano: come non rimanere sbalorditi di fronte a quello che accade in "Attesa inerte" a partire da 00'43"?
