From Capitol Records "Classics In Jazz" series, Leadbelly sings and plays the blues. Released in 1953.

The red-colored slick on the front is in beautiful condition.

Vinyl has a few scuffs and very light scratches that don't effect play. There's a little surface noise at the beginning of both sides just before the music begins, and a pop here and there, but the sound is bright and clear. Lots of surface gloss remains. Jacket has some age spotting but there are no seam splits. There's a price sticker in the upper left hand corner of the back cover ($1.85, marked down to 45 cents!). There's also a faded black stamp that says "PAID" near the price sticker and a tiny purple stamp in the lower right hand corner (on the back) with the numbers "47".

All in all an excellent copy of a rare disc.
