Description

This is an auction for the original 1940 3 x 78 album folio: LEADBELLY and the Golden Gate Quartet - The Midnight Special and Other Southern Prison Songs on Victor Records (P-50).
A truly legendary set of American folk blues recordings!
Sides include Stewball, Grey Goose, Ham An' Eggs, The Midnight Special, Alabama Bound, and
  Pick a Bale of Cotton.
- Cover image looks great with some light wear. Cover shows some light damage from dampness, chipping at corners, etc. but looks good overall. The linen taping at the spine is somewhat discolored and the spine itself is completely blown out (see photos).
- Records are all in nice shape, with some light marks / scuffs. No chips / No Cracks / No Writing on Labels.
