THE LEATHER PAGES-45-“Accept Me For What I Am” b/w “The News Is Out”-Busy-B Records #ZAP-6-Killerkool 1966 Baton Rogue Louisiana Fuzz-Psych-Garage Punk=PUNKADELIC…Most of you know from assorted Comps over the years…if not, A side is Killerkool tremolo-fuzz guitar drenched with cryptic vocals and non-stop Vox Continental organ; Electric Prunes-like with a single-note lead guitar break with ascending progression in the background via “Too Much To Dream”…B side is of similar nature; great track with prominent and over-exaggerated tremolo fuzz guitar throughout, again very Prunes-like, even cooler than A side with a “Chocolate Moose Theme” type tremolo fuzz lead guitar break…really great 2 sider…
Condition: Record is between VG+ and close to near MINT-Minus on A side; B Side would be the same but has 4 superficial surface scratches (one almost the length of the number, not quite, 3 smaller ones)-can be seen, but very superficial-can’t feel them with your fingertips, any background noise from them is covered by loud content; more on the VG- side overall…NOTE: NOISY pressing; A side has obvious static, crackles-due to pressing NOT condition; B side background noise is less obvious…most releases on this label the pressings are noisy…
Label clean both sides; has a star stamped on A side (see photo)
