THE LEATHERCOATED MINDS
A Trip Down The Sunset Strip
LP
Low start!.....No reserve!!.....NO high priced ‘Buy It Now’.
ORIGINAL Fontana issue…..not a reissue on Sundazed or a US issue!
The Leathercoated Minds "A Trip Down Sunset Strip" is a very rare UK Fontana label original first pressing from 1967 and in MONO. Laminated flipback sleeve.
This was producer Snuff Garrett’s project as a compilation album of covers of numbers that were popular on Hollywood's Sunset Strip. These were combined with newly-written numbers by J.J. Cale who was a member of the studio group assembled for the recording, who called themselves "The Leathercoated Minds.
Killer album of psychy 1960s hits plus four original instrumental compositions by J.J.Cale. Snippets of conversations and street sounds are heard between the tracks.
The record plays great. Feint marks only and none affecting play.. Very quiet between tracks. Don’t think you’ll be disappointed. Worth every penny.
The sleeve is very good (nearer excellent I think). A little wear and no rips, splits or damage.

Due to an increase in eBay fees I have unfortunately had to increase postage slightly. (But still less than many sellers!) Also, eBay now charge a 9% fee on postage cost. To help buyers I will list this auction with a low start price.
This is a Vinyl record. Note that most vinyl will have a little faint 'crackle'. I describe them as best I can but be aware all records may have a very occasional background.
