Description
The non laminated UK issue gatefold cover has limited edge, corner and surface rub wear with a few light surface creases - please see close up photos. The full colour gatefold centre spread is as good as it gets.Full vibrant colour with no writing or tears or marks, absolutely superb.The spine shows evidence of wear towards the ends and down the centre where it slightly fades parts of the text – but it’s moderate, not severe, and represent only reasonable wear for this type of cover. Overall a really nice example of this album. please see photos which show the actual item clearly and provide an informative and accurate representation. The vinyl still has its brilliant shop sheen .It does have a few hairlines seen only under a bright light. It plays absolutely superb except for 1/2 dozen clicks on track 1 side1 at the beginning .The track is so loud anyway it really does not interfere with your listening.Otherwise it has the most amazing audio sound.The best ive heard. The plum orange labels are clean and crisp looking with hardly any spindle marks.the original poly lined inner has a few creases on the bottom corners which is normal.
This 1969 original lp has matrix no's A2/B2 the very first pressing (no no.1's) in what they called was the brown bomber jacket which is the light brown rather than the later dark brown covers.
It has "the lemon song" on label and cover before it was changed.
I would put the cover at vg+ to ex.
The vinyl would have been exc+ all but the beginning so ex-.
You would have to go a long way to get a first pressing copy as good as this one a real superb package.
