Description
A rare example of the famous elusive mispressing of the classic album on ASYLUM Records (see photos). Excellent condition, play tested with excellent sleeve and insert. An error at a pressing plant in Ireland, meant that a batch of copies of Led Zep IV were manufactured with 'Asylum' labels instead of 'Atlantic' ones. These were withdrawn but a few survived.
The vinyl plays, sounds and looks great.
The matrix numbers are K50008 A and K50008 B with "STRAWBERRY" and "X" stamped into the runout on both sides.
The side one label misspells track 3 as "The Battle Of Evenmore" (rather than Evermore).
