Description
Led Zeppelin--1st LP Turquoise Lettering 1969
Only 2,000 copies released in 1969. The holy grail for Led Zeppelin collectors.
UK original. Not a recent reproduction.
What you expect---Superhype credits: Matrix 588171A//1 B//1: Red/Plum Labels;
Turquoise lettering on front: Grey strip across bottom of cover
COVER It has the usual ringware,which is more visable due to the lamination.
Very small grubby areas on the front,where the spine is
Small sellotape mark on back of cover,bottom left
No tears on cover. Spine lettering visable. Some limited laminate creasing.
LABEL Excellent. Bright and clean. No writing, stickers etc. Usual spindle wear.
VINYL Disc lays flat. Is not warped. Slight minimal hairline crackles here and there[due to disc in and
out of sleeve,and being 42 years old].Hardly noticeable.
Just two or three clicks at the begining of side two. Nothing much. Side one sounds fine,including quiet parts of record.
Side one--No scratches visible to the eye
Side two--Visible hairline scratch track one. Visible small scuff track two,[not audable]
Using the UK' Record Collector grading system, i would say the vinyl condition is v good to excellent.
Full refund if not happy with purchase.
I purchased this record the first week it came out in central London,where i worked as a teenager.
Unfortunately circumstances have forced me to part with the record.
