Description
Great example of this iconic LP which sounds excellent.
This has the following matrix numbers:
Side 1: 588171 A//1
Side 2: 588171 B//4
Side A matrix is 'corrected' (where the second '8' has been crossed-out and then re-etched above).
Detailed description
Vinyl: The vinyl looks great and has retained its original high sheen. It has clearly been well cared for. Under bright light, hairlines, sleeve-removal lines and fine marks were visible.
Labels: Both labels look great with no tears, writing, stickers and virtually no spindle marking, suggesting that the record has been cared for.
Sleeve: The sleeve has two minor creases at the opening but shows no signs of fading or yellowing. Other than these issues, the cover is in superb condition.
Edge wear: There is virtually no wear to the edges and the spine is solid and firm and the text is all 100% readable.
Corner wear: light
Inner sleeve: Original 'Plastic bags can be dangerous' inner sleeve. No splits, tears of damage, just some creases and signs of use.
I last played this album probably 10 years ago after I bought it and it sounded great then with hardly any background hiss or clicks.
