The HOLY GRAIL of Led Zeppelin Collectors! This is LED ZEPPELIN 1 on the red/maroon Atlantic label 588171. The TURQUOISE sleeve lettering, A1 and B1 stampers and Superhype/Jewel credits denote that this is a genuine 1969 UK first pressing of this awesome masterpiece. A truly cherished item for any Led Zep fan or any serious vinyl addict!
I am currently thinning out my old vinyl collection so I can make room (literally and financially) for certain other gems that I've always longed for. I am not a dealer, just a genuine old rock'n'roll refugee!
CONDITION -
SLEEVE - Light creasing to the laminate on the sleeve. Spine has 5cm of wear from record being pushed through the centre. Light scuffing to the corners. Wording on the spine is clear and legible. No writing or scribbling anywhere. I grade this sleeve as VERY GOOD.
VINYL - Some light scuffs on the surface but no scratches. There is light crackle between tracks but otherwise the sound is phenomenal. I test played this record this morning and it blew my socks off! It has obviously been played a number of times over the years but it still sounds amazing. I would grade the EXCELLENT.
