Description
** PLEASE READ FULLY BEFORE YOU BID **
Rarer 1971 original 1st issue of LED ZEPPELIN 4 (ZOSO) on red/plum labelled Atlantic deluxe 2401012 which has transitional stickers on the record labels (see below and the pics.).
The original label text which stated 'Executive Producer : Peter Grant' was covered by the application of stickers. The group's name was moved on a separate sticker to a position above the white printed band and a sticker stating ' Kinney Music Ltd / Superhype Music Inc. - Produced By Jimmy Page' was added below the white band on both sides. Curiously , those responsible for erasing Peter Grant's name from the record label actually forgot to delete it from the inner sleeve.

VINYL .... mostly VG/ VG+ in parts.....visually very good, a few soft marks/cosmetic scratches on each side. Plays well with some occasional surface noises in quieter passages /between tracks on each side. Most surface noises are drowned out by the dynamic music. Clean labels with stickers as stated above. The 'Led Zeppelin' sticker on side one has a small edge rub. 'PECKO DUCK' etched in run-off on side 1. and ' PORKY' on side 2.
COVER ... VG+..... The non-laminated gatefold cover has very mild edge wear and slightly heavier wear on the hinged corners, other than that it's fine. No tears or repairs and no biro writing. The dark grey/olive green inner sleeve is an original (later were lighter in colour) and is in very good order with a couple of handling marks to note. 'Stairway To Heaven' lyrics printed on one side.
