This LP box set was purchased by me in 1990 and stored carefully ever since - NEVER BEEN PLAYED*

* I say it has never been played except that on checking the condition of the records prior to putting it up for this auction I noticed a slight pressing fault on Disc One, Side One, Track 3 (Communication Breakdown) and so was compelled to play this track to see whether this slight fault was audible. I have to say that there is an extremely faint audible click at this fault but it in no way distracts you from the music. These LP's were never pressed on 100% virgin vinyl and so faults like this appeared commonly. The other LP's however appear 100% perfect. Only the track Communication Breakdown has been played.

The enclosed 36 page colour information booklet with its double gatefold centre pages are absolutely perfect. The booklet gives complete track by track credits, three essays and band discography.

The inner sleeves are all perfect except that due to the black ink used in the printing they are susceptible to finger marking. The sleeve for Record IV has some rubbing through from the label centre though this is minor detail.

The box set still has the original sponge layer in the bottom tray. I will be leaving this in the set although it needs to be replaced as with age (17 years!) it is deteriorating (as sponge begins to once it's passed the 10 year stage!).

The Box itself is mint.

The tracks are Digitally Remastered by Jimmy Page and George Marino at Sterling Sound, New York, May 1990
