American Forces pressing of the Song Remains The Same Soundtrack.
Ultra rare due to the track listing and timings, see the notes on the 2nd side indicating to the DJ that 'All three selections are short versions for timing purposes'
It is complete with the original brown sleeve that all AFRTS LPs were issued in. There are a few slight surface scratches but its really the rarity factor that counts in this particular instance.
AFRTS or American Forces Radio and Television Service Lps are extremely rare records manufactured by the US government and distributed to US Radio stations around the world in the 60s and 70s eventually ceasing with the introduction of the CD and then satellite transmissions. As such no more than a few hundred of each title were pressed and most were lost, thrown away or destroyed when stations closed or were digitised.
This is a great addition for the Led Zeppelin collector.
