Original 7" picture sleeve 45rpm EP, Atlantic label EPA 228, released 1972 , Australian pressing.

Up for auction is this rare original Australian pressed 7" EP featuring 3 iconic tracks by Led Zeppelin, including Stairway to Heaven. This unique EP was released only within Australia.

CONDITION: 

Record: VG . This record plays very well with powerful dynamics. There are a reasonable number of surface sleeve scuffs plus other minor surface marks but these do not affect playability. Background surface noise in the form of minor crackle is heard between tracks or in very low musical passages but does not overpower the dynamics of the music.  The vinyl still has very good gloss/sheen. Labels are very clean without tears stickers or writing. 

Cover:  VG+ . Cover in very good condition with the picture sleeve colours still extremely  vibrant. No ring wear on the front or rear cover. Laminate on front cover still quite shiny showing only limited scuffing. Negligible creasing on the front cover. The rear cover white background has aged to an off-white and there is slight ink-loss due to rubbing. The margins of the rear cover show some ageing stains.Corners and edges quite crisp showing only a small amount of rubbing. Spine very crisp, without splits or tears. Sleeve opening quite crisp with a well defined edge.

In summary, this is a unique Australian-only release Led Zeppelin EP which would be a very welcome addition to any Led Zep record collection.
