Up for sale is the HOLY GRAIL of LED ZEPPELIN records – the infamous debut album with the EXTREMLY RARE TURQOUISE LETTERING instead of the orange that became standard on later releases. Superhype publishing credits. Cat # Atlantic 588 171. Red/Plum labels. Grey band bottom of front sleeve. A1/B1 stamper in dead wax. One can debate which credit that originally was printed on the label (the other one being Warner Bros), but this is THE ORIGINAL first UK release according to Record Collectors 2008 ninth edition.
This copy is from my private collection – always kept in a smokefree enviroment, only one owner prior me – and show very little sign of wear. Sleeve has very minor creases and laminate lifting (I´m a pedant myself and would on a scale 1 – 10 rate this sleeve a solid 8.5). No rips, no tears and an almost perfect spine. The record has NOT been pro cleaned at any time. According to RC grading system I would rate BOTH sleeve and the vinyl EXCELLENT. Labels are both EX+. I have listed several upclose pictures so just enjoy! This records is indeed a keeper and a safe investment for the future to come.
