RARE first pressing of Led Zeppelin's Houses Of The Holy on the Atlantic Label. This 1st Ever Press, with the HOUSES OF THE HOLY printed exactly in the top centre of the middle label. With 'Made in UK' text. Produced by Jimmy Page, and has the 'Superhype Publishing/Warner Bros. Music (1-4). As a 1st Press there are NO WEA logos on the labels. This rare press also has the 'STERLING RL' etched into the run out grooves on both sides. Has respective C1 and C1 C1 Matrix numbers Side 1 and Side 2.
The MacNeill made GATEFOLD sleeve is Near Mint condition. It is very clean with a lovely crisp uncreased spine. Hard to believe this was made in 1973. The matt inner lyric sleeve is fully intact no splits or tears. There is however such minor foxing and ageing commensurate with its age and handling.
The vinyl visual/audio is Excellent. Has a lovely clean just pressed look, and retains its sheen. Couple of minor hairlines when angled into bright light. The matt labels are relatively clean with a minimal amount of spindle wear only.
