My listening equipment is a highly revealing Yamaha PF-800 turntable (equal to a 1990s LP12), pre/power amps and B&W Matrix Reference speakers. Before listing I always clean LPs on a vacuum record cleaning machine and I always determine audio quality by playing the LP not just by visual inspection. For this LP I have used an Ortofon OM10 MM cartridge.
Played on my system this LP grades Excellent with just some minor background noise to run-in grooves, between tracks and the intro to the second track. This is an early UK pressing with matt gatefold sleeve and stiff card lyric inner sleeve. Orange/white/green Atlantic labels with no WEA logo and circular label text in the orange section only. The track timings on the labels are different to other pressings (see photos).
The matt gatefold sleeve is in excellent condition; there is a small area to the front top corner where the colour has leached a little, possibly where a sticker has been (see final photo), but this is only noticeable under close scrutiny and is only mentioned for accuracy.
The record will be well packaged for safe transit - I used to sell a lot of records on ebay so I have a good packaging procedure.
