Description

Artist: Led Zeppelin Title: Houses Of The Holy Label: Atlantic Cat No: K50014 Year: 1973 Country: UK
I am in the process of selling my Record Collection, this is a copy of the classic rare 1973 UK Green/Orange Atlantic release `Houses Of The Holy` by Led Zeppelin. It is the 1st UK issue with A2 matrix, No WEA logo on label (this was introduced on later copies) Superhype credit, Textured Inner Lyric Sleeve (later copies were smooth), thicker card sleeve. The Vinyl plays great and is in VG+/EX condition, great copy of this original issue. Matrix: Side 1 : K50014 A2 `STERLING`  Side 2: K50014 B3
Vinyl (VG++) Thicker Vinyl (only on the initial issues as the later presses were affected by the oil crisis in the UK October 1973 and a lot of vinyl was pressed on thinner vinyl), looking at the vinyl surface under bright LED lights, I can see light sleeve removal scuffs, nothing feelable or deep, no sticks or jumps, Plays through great, a nice vinyl copy!!
Labels - Clean Orange/Green Atlantic labels with No WEA logo (showing it is a first issue) - shows some visible spindle lines, but definitely not been overplayed.
Inserts (EX) - The inner lyric sleeve is the original `Textured` feel `MacNeill Press Ltd` with no Knifing, some ageing
Sleeve (EX) Original nice thick card Matt finish gatefold sleeve, sharp opening & spine, some minimal wear (see photos for complete overview)
I am in the process of selling lots of obscure & rare Records/CD`s, I will be posting regularly why not check them out! I use professionally made packers with card stiffeners & record removed from album cover

I use lots of photos to show as accurately as possible what you are getting (also I dont cut the corners of the record sleeve off the picture!!)

Gradings: I use the standard UK gradings as set out in Record Collector Magazine below:

MINT: The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. Records advertised as Sealed or Unplayed should be Mint.

EXCELLENT: The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing.

VERY GOOD: The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.

Near Mint,  EX+, VG+ etc are acceptable additions to help `fine tune` descriptions for the buyer
