Note: All records are professionally cleaned prior to grading on an Okki Nokki RCM using L’Art Du Son cleaning fluid. This does not restore a record to brand new, but rather removes the majority of dust and dirt to leave a record (and it’s audio) as clean as possible.

Sleeve

The sleeve appears to be in VG condition with some signs of age, some laminate peel and creasing, along with general shelf and usage wear from over the years. It has the initials 'RP' written inside the sleeve as replicated on the labels, indicating these have been a matching pair since day one. Please see large photographs for a better idea!

Vinyl

Visually the record appears to be in VG- condition with some light scuffs, scratches and marks.

I have played the record through and it does play with some surface noise throughout, more noticeable during quieter passages. I noticed the odd tick and pop and some distortion during some of the more powerful sections of the record when played at a loud volume.

In my opinion the sound on this original pressing is fantastic and were it not for the surface noise, it would blow any other copy out of the water! I thoroughly enjoyed every moment of it!

Record Collectors Grading System
MINT (M): The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. Records advertised as Sealed or Unplayed should be Mint.
EXCELLENT (EX): The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and / or creasing.
VERY GOOD (VG): The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.
GOOD (G): The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discolouration, etc.
The use of + or - allows for items that fall between the above grades.
