A BIT ABOUT GRADING…
ALL RECORDS HAVE BEEN GRADED VISUALLY. I HAVE DONE MY BEST TO BE ACCURATE FROM A PURELY VISUAL PERSPECTIVE.
I USE THE RARE RECORD PRICE GUIDE GRADING SYSTEM WITH +/- IF I FEEL THAT A RECORD FALLS IN BETWEEN GRADES.
THE RRPG SYSTEM IS AS FOLLOWS:
Mint (M) The record itself is in brand new condition with no surface marks or deterioration in sound quality. The cover and any extra items such as the lyric sheet, booklet or poster are in perfect condition. Records advertised as Sealed or Un-played should be Mint.
Excellent (EX) The record shows some signs of having been played, but there is very little lessening in sound quality. The cover and packaging might have slight wear and/or creasing.
Very Good (VG) The record has obviously been played many times, but displays no major deterioration in sound quality, despite noticeable surface marks and the occasional light scratch. Normal wear and tear on the cover or extra items, without any major defects, is acceptable.
Good (G) The record has been played so much that the sound quality has noticeably deteriorated, perhaps with some distortion and mild scratches. The cover and contents suffer from folding, scuffing of edges, spine splits, discolouration, etc.
Fair (F) The record is still just about playable but has not been cared for properly and displays considerable surface noise; it may even jump. The cover and contents will be torn, stained and/or defaced.
Poor (P) The record will not play properly due to scratches, bad surface noise, etc. The cover and contents will be badly damaged or partly missing.

can you detail the condition of the vnyl for me? thanks.
A: The vinyl has very minor deterioration in sound in places but overall has a superb rich sound with no skips/jumps. There is the odd pop/crackle and some minor background noise during quiet passages. There aren't many on this record. The vinyl is shiny and clean with minor surface scuffs and scratches that do not affect play. It has been played many times as evidenced by the spindle marks but has been well looked after. Its clean bright and shiny. The label is clean and bright with no major blemishes. This is not a mint copy and I have graded as VG. I have bought records graded as EX in worse condition but am trying to be realistic as this will be bought by a collector due to rarity value. A nice copy of a rare record.
