Description
HERE is a lovely very early first pressing of Led Zeppelin's debut album, Led Zeppelin I, on UK plum Atlantic vinyl from 1969. This gorgeous example features the ultra rare Superhype publishing credits for no fewer than seven of the nine tracks together with first press A1 and B1 matrices, showing this issue to have been published either immediately after (or at the same time) as the hallowed 'turquoise' issues of Led Zeppelin's iconic debut LP. Following a succession of subsequent releases these Superhype credits disappeared altogether. Both sides of this disc look virtually faultless with no marks to be seen even when examined under strong halogen lighting - the vinyl grades a strong EX and plays beautifully throughout from start to finish, both sides. The fully-laminated single sleeve with prominent silver/grey bottom edge strip is a lovely EX- with no tears, no rips and no writing and just some light hardly noticeable creasing and slight cornerwear at the bottom of the opening edge. Good luck if you are bidding - please check out my other rare items.
